Join us for the first PTO Meeting (virtual) on Thursday, October 7 at 7 p.m. This will be a great opportunity to hear about upcoming events and vote on the proposed budget. Please note that anyone can attend the meeting but only members who have paid their PTO Dues can vote at the meeting.

ROOM PARENTS
If you are interested in becoming a room parent, please add your name to this form by Wednesday, October 6. After that date, the Room Parent Committee will randomly select two parents for each room and send you more information. The responsibility of the room parents will be decided by each individual teacher. Please note that all room parents will need volunteer badges to enter the school. Instructions can be found here.

HELP BRING THE GARDEN BACK
McKinley is lucky to have a large, award-winning garden just outside its doors. In previous years, students were able to visit and work in the garden once a week during recess. We'd like to bring this opportunity back, but in order to do so, we need a committee of 3 volunteers to manage the process. No gardening experience is necessary nor expected of the committee! The committee's primary responsibility is to manage communication between the parent/grandparent volunteers, administration/facilities and the gardeners. It would be great if the students could enjoy fall in the garden before it closes for the season in mid-November, but parent volunteers are required in order for the students to be able to visit.
